We completely understand that plans can change. If you’d like to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible after placing it.

As a small independent brand, payment processing fees are non-refundable to us. For this reason, cancelled orders will be refunded minus the original payment processing costs.

Once an order has been prepared for shipment, we may no longer be able to cancel it. In this case, you’re very welcome to return your order once delivered in line with our returns policy.

You can redeem a gift card by purchasing a product and entering the gift card code at checkout. Gift cards apply to an order total. If the order total exceeds the gift card value, you will have to pay the remaining amount using our supported payment methods or another gift card. If your order total is less than the gift card value, the remaining value will be displayed at checkout and in the order receipt for you to redeem at another time, until the gift card expiry date.

We rarely offer sales. As part of our commitment to creating more responsible fashion, we produce our collections in limited quantities to help avoid excess stock and overproduction.

Rather than encouraging overconsumption through frequent discounting, we focus on producing smaller, more intentional runs of each style.

We do, however, offer discounts during our pre-order periods, which allow us to better plan production quantities and reduce waste.

Pre-ordering gives you early access to our latest styles and the opportunity to secure limited-stock pieces before they sell out.

All pre-order items are offered at a special limited-time pre-order price, and full payment is required at the time of purchase.

If your order includes both pre-order and in-stock items, your order will be held and shipped together once your pre-order item arrives. If you’d prefer to receive your in-stock items sooner, please contact us and we’ll do our best to help arrange a separate shipment.

No. Our pre-orders are not made-to-measure, bespoke, or custom-made.

All Vandrélaar shoes are produced in standard European sizes using our existing lasts, patterns, and constructions. While we’re always happy to offer personalised sizing guidance based on your foot measurements, we’re unfortunately unable to customise sizing, make pairs in different sizes, alter fit specifications, or make individual modifications to designs.

This includes requests such as:
• Different sizes for the left and right foot
• Custom widths or made-to-measure adjustments
• Strap, heel, hardware, or leather modifications
• Sole, heel height, or construction changes

Pre-ordering simply allows customers to reserve a pair from an upcoming production run before stock arrives.

Pre-order items may take a few weeks before they are ready to ship. The estimated shipping date is stated on the product page at the time of purchase, and you’ll also receive an email confirming your pre-order.

As a small, independent brand producing in small batches, there can occasionally be unexpected delays. If that happens, we will always notify you as soon as possible and keep you updated.

If you would like to change your pre-order, please contact us within 48 hours of having placed your order. If you change your mind and would like to cancel your order, please contact us.

Yes, of course. You can request an exchange within 14 days of receiving your order, and we’ll do our best to accommodate this, subject to stock availability.

If your preferred size is unavailable, you’re welcome to return your order in line with our Returns Policy, or we can reserve you a pair in our next production run (if one goes ahead).

While we’re happy to share estimated timelines for future production, these can occasionally change. If there are any delays or if a production run does not proceed, we will of course keep you updated.

Our pre-order items may take several weeks before being shipped. As a thank you for our customers' patience, we offer a discount on pre-orders for a limited time only.

We take great care in checking the quality of our shoes before shipping them.

Please inspect your order carefully upon delivery. If you believe your item has arrived with a fault, you must contact us via our Contact Us page within 3 days of delivery and before the item has been worn.

Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos in your message so we can assist you as quickly as possible.

Please note that wear and tear, accidental damage, improper care, and issues reported after prolonged wear may not be considered manufacturing faults.

Every pair of our shoes is made from natural materials such as leather, suede, or linen, each with its own unique characteristics. While your shoes will match the style, design, and colour described, slight variations in shade, texture, or finish are normal and part of the natural beauty of these materials. Product images are for reference only. Actual colours may appear slightly different due to natural material variation, lighting, or your screen settings.

We do not currently offer in-house repair services. However, we are happy to recommend some cobblers based in London and Amsterdam. Please contact us for more information.

All of our shoes are produced in limited quantities to avoid stock surplus, so it's not uncommon for a product to sell out.
